Dr. Jayesh Sonvani commenced his medical career with an MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, in 1996. He then trained for the MD (Paediatrics) postgraduate degree, which he obtained from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in the year 2000. To further increase his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Sonvani underwent training in Neonatology at KLE Society Hospital, which is one of India’s most prestigious medical centres.
Dr. Jayesh Sonvani has a total of 16 years of paediatric experience starting with Gondhiya Hospital, where he worked for 18 months before establishing Satnam Child Care in Rajkot in 2001. From 2001 to 2009, Satnam Child Care constantly improved under his guidance, by joining hands with skilled paediatricians and procuring the latest medical equipment.
Until 2009, the hospital was successful in providing optimum treatment to the new born child. But at that juncture Dr. Jayesh Sonvani came to the realisation that, “A mother and child are one single entity and should also be treated the same way, together”. In light of this new paradigm, he launched the Satnam Hospital, with a mission to serve both – mother as well as child – under the same roof and at an affordable cost.
